Two years ago, our first visit to Vista Hermosa just left us speechless. This time we pulled ourselves together to express what we feel :)

If Vancouver Island is a beautiful sea shell and Tofino is a stunning pearl in it - then Vista Hermosa is that little golden grain of sand from which it all starts. We never felt like it is a vacation rental, it always seemed to be one of a kind and only for us. We think this is the best impression possible, and you successfully achieved it.

We wish you the best of luck, as apparently you have everything else, we are sure your business will prosper and we will be coming back!

Vista Hermosa is certainly a rare find in Tofino. This is our third vacation in this great town, and this place certainly is the cherry on top and much more. So glad we found it. The kitchen rocked! For two months I’ve had clinical depression. Just before this trip, my doctor wanted to have me hospitalized before I hurt myself. I felt life was just not worth living until my stay here. It’s not just the view, or the luxury of Vista Hermosa, but the company. On the first day, I sat on the porch with my best friends in the world and realized how beautiful life can be. I admired them as they admired the view and thought about how fortunate I am to have such wonderful people to share this amazing experience with me. My doctor thought I’d loose control during this trip and tried to stop me from coming. I can’t imagine regretting anything anymore.

Many thanks for a fantastic stay here in Tofino. Everything in the suite has been absolutely perfect and much more that we expected. We’ll be heading home with lots of magical memories. An awesome whale watching trip, beautiful seaplane experience, fantastic barbeque, watching the sun go down on the deck and of course, looking up on a clear starry night from the fantasy hot tub. This really is an amazing place. On our three week honeymoon, we’ve seen Niagara Falls and traveled through the rockies, but nothing beats Tofino! We hope to be back again. Best wishes

No alarm clock by the bed-a perfect indication that we would be relaxing and resting. We thought we heard whales splashing outside when we were in the hot tub on Saturday evening. Uh…What can we say? Everything we needed after the trip from Whistler. Arrived at 8:30 pm. And were immediately relaxed by the setting, tranquility, hot tub etc. Very impressed with the size of the beer fridge! Special mention should go out to the builders who helped us to extract the maximum from each day by starting work on the stairs outside the bedroom window at 7:00am every morning : ). Despite that, this is probably our favorite place after 5-6 visits to Tofino. We can’t wait to come back.

Nice diversion from the normal hectic pace of life. Seafood every day all day…yum! Mucho wildlife sightings, taking the guided tours are the way to go for “first timers” to find. Then feel free to explore from there. Nice digs, perfect for the crew. The view of the water with the islands and mountains as a backdrop put me in a chill of mud the whole week. Just what I needed after a frantic first year in the pacific NW. It’s starting to grow on me, and the only TV station showing NCAA football had my on state Buckeyes featured, so I guess I’ll be back next year! Thanks!

What a perfect view from our suite! The accommodations were everything imagined. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed Tofino and the surrounding beaches and area, including kayaking, and of course, the hot tub..a bonus! Thank goodness it rained and the water restrictions were lifted. As far North by northwest we’ve ever traveled and definitely worth the trip! Spent an entire day whale watching & bear watching and while disappointed to not run into any orcas we did see some gray and black bear cubs. It was the highlight of our afternoon. Shops and galleries better than any we’ve encountered back in Victoria last week. Tonight’s out last night. We’ll spend it watching for the sign of the whale from the hot tub. P.S. my husband promises to take me back here. I just hope it does not take another ten years! I enjoyed spending our tenth anniversary in the BC!

What an amazing place! The apartment is perfect and the view from the hot tub superb. Good places to eat-Schooners, the Rainforest and Shelter- and don’t miss lunch at Sobo in the botanical gardens. All the beaches are wonderful, but our favorite is Florencia Bay. Love the Canadians-we will certainly be back!

Great fun trying to surf with “Live to Surf.” Fun time in Zodiac with Adventures Pacific-great ride, but difficult to spot the whale(whale watching better in Telegraph cove) but ride was exhilarating. Dear Barbara & Desmond, We spent 3 wonderful days in this nice flat. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the sun and the atmosphere of Tofino. We made an exciting tour to Meares Island and thought “this must be paradise.” The schooner fish restaurant is the best we have experienced. We saw a black bear who stood on his back feet to pose for us. All in all a great experience. We were the first to use the BBQ grill and the steaks coming off it were excellent! As we have not seen all the nice spots at Tofino yet, we will come back!

Visiting Tofino is something I can now cross off my list of “things to do before I die.” While we loved the “Tofi experience,” it was enhanced even more by the Vista Hermosa experience. They are together a full package! Loved the view, sunshine, warm breezes, and food!

We had a wonderful week here; despite warnings from friends, we didn’t need the waterproofs at all! Six days of bright, clear sunshine with only small foggy interludes. The air is great and the views truly memorable. The comings and goings of the seaplanes and the boats in the harbor below made a small 5 year old boy truly happy! We all enjoyed a whale watching trip and saw humpbacks, orcas, and sea lions. We really hope to come back one day!
